MISSION STATEMENT

The Chamber was formed in 1991 for the following purposes.

PROMOTE GOODWILL - To promote good will, understanding and cooperation between the people of Korea and the people of the United States;

ENCOURAGE RELATIONS - To encourage and promote friendly relations and social contact between the citizens of Korea and the citizens of the southeastern states of United States;

FACILITATE MEETINGS – To organize, promote and facilitate seminars and meetings of Korean and American businesses and professionals whose objectives involve trade and commerce between the southeastern United States and Korea;

EXCHANGE IDEAS – To provide a forum to freely exchange ideas on trade, commerce and investments in Korea and in the southeastern United States;

SERVE BUSINESS PUBLIC – To collect and make available to the public information relating to trade, business conditions and other information of value to individuals or businesses interested in trade, commerce, or investments in Korea and in the southeastern United States.

한미동남부 상공회의소는 1991년 설립된 이래로, 회원 및 객원들의 네트워크 형성과 공공 기관과의 연계를 돕기 위하여 정기적인 회의와 행사를 진행하며, 애틀랜타에 소재하고 있는 대한민국 총영사관과의 긴밀한 협조를 주관하고 있습니다.

특별행사와 안내프로그램을 통해 한국의 공공기관 및 비즈니스를 위한 교류 기회, 한국과 미 동남부 지역에서 비즈니스 활동을 하고 있는 전문인력과의 네트워크 형성, 한국 및 미 동남부 시장에 진출하기 위한 효과적인 마케팅과 전문적 전략과 기술에 관한 워크숍과 세미나 참여, 연례 만찬과 골프 대회 참여 등, 한미 무역 관계를 발전시키고 보호하기 위한 다양한 활동을 하고 있습니다. 한미 동남부 상공회의소는 한국과 미 동남부 지역 경영인들의 상호교류 발전을 위해 회원들에게 적극적인 도움을 드리는 단체입니다.
